The Bulk Carrier Ship Familiarization and Shipboard Crane Operation VR Module is a cutting-edge training program that offers a highly immersive and interactive learning experience. It is designed to equip trainees with comprehensive knowledge of bulk carrier ships and the specific operation of shipboard cranes for discharging coal.

Participants will be virtually transported onto the deck of a bulk carrier ship, where they will have the opportunity to explore and familiarize themselves with various aspects of the vessel. This includes understanding the ship’s layout, identifying key components, and gaining insights into the specialized equipment used in the handling of bulk cargo.

One of the central focuses of this module is the operation of shipboard cranes for coal discharge. Trainees will engage in hands-on simulations that replicate the actual procedures involved in unloading coal from the vessel. They will learn to operate the crane controls, position the grab or bucket for efficient material handling, and ensure safe and precise cargo discharge operations.
